Moon Chart (Chandra Lagna)चंद्र लग्न

The exact same birth chart, but recalculated using the Moon's sign as the 1st house instead of the actual rising sign (Lagna) — a second, Moon-centered lens on the same chart, widely used in Vedic astrology alongside (not instead of) the Lagna-based chart.

In practice

Especially useful when the exact birth time is uncertain (which shifts the Lagna significantly) but the birth date is known precisely, since the Moon's sign changes much more slowly (~2.25 days) and is more forgiving of small time errors.

How it's calculated

Identical planetary positions to the main D1 chart, just re-housed with the Moon's Rashi treated as the 1st house.
