Name Number (Chaldean)
A number derived from the letters of your name using the Chaldean numerology system, in which each letter of the alphabet is assigned a specific number (not the same simple A=1, B=2 sequence used in some other numerology systems).
In practice
Since this is derived from spelling, not birth data, it's the one numerology number in this app that changes if you use a different form of your name (nickname, married name, etc.) — traditionally used to evaluate whether a specific spelling of a name is favorable for the person.
How it's calculated
Each letter maps to a number 1–8 (Chaldean system skips 9, considered a sacred/complete number) based on a fixed classical letter-to-number table, summed and reduced to a single digit.
