Vivaha Saham (Marriage Point)विवाह साहम्
A calculated sensitive point (not a planet) in the birth chart specifically used for judging marriage timing — one of several classical "Saham" (Arabic-parts-like) points, each computed from a specific formula involving other chart positions.
In practice
The Rashi (sign) this point falls in, combined with which planets transit or form Dasha periods related to it, is used to help identify favorable years for marriage.
How it's calculated
A classical formula combining the longitudes of the Sun, Moon, and Ascendant (the exact formula differs slightly by classical source, and varies by whether it's a day or night birth).
