Dagdha Rashiदग्ध राशि
"Dagdha" means burnt. This warning fires when the Moon's current zodiac sign matches a specific "burnt" sign for today's Tithi — a classical combination said to render actions fruitless.
In practice
When active, this is considered one of the more serious warnings: actions started during this window are said to yield no result at all, not just a bad result. It applies for the Tithi's entire remaining duration, not just a narrow sub-window.
How it's calculated
Each of the 15 Tithi numbers (1–15, same for both lunar fortnights) has exactly 2 zodiac signs classically marked as "burnt" for that Tithi — if the Moon happens to be transiting one of those 2 signs while that Tithi is active, the warning fires.
