One of the 8 Ashtakoot compatibility factors — checks whether the rulers of each partner's Moon sign are classically "friends," "neutral," or "enemies" with each other, out of a maximum 5 points.
In practice
Used both in full Kundli matching (see the Matching page glossary entries) and, on the Partner Signs page, as one factor ranking which Moon signs are most naturally compatible with yours.
How it's calculated
Based on a fixed classical friendship table between the 7 classical planetary rulers of the 12 zodiac signs.
