One of the most well-known doshas — occurs when Mars occupies one of six specific houses (1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th) counted from the Lagna, Moon, or Venus, and is traditionally associated with friction, delay, or conflict in marriage if not properly accounted for.
This app checks all three reference points (Lagna, Moon, Venus) independently and reports a "confirmation count" out of 3 — the more of the three that confirm Manglik, the stronger the classical concern is considered. It then separately checks for cancellation rules (see below) which can substantially reduce or fully cancel the dosha's severity even when Mars sits in one of these six houses.
