Nadi Bhanga (Nadi Cancellation)नाड़ी भंग

A set of three classical exception rules that can cancel a same-Nadi "Nadi Dosh" (see Nadi Koota above) even though the couple technically shares the same Nadi type — recognizing that the Nadi classification alone doesn't capture every relevant nuance.

In practice

This app checks and labels which specific rule applies, if any: same Rashi but different Nakshatra, same Nakshatra but different Rashi/Pada, or — flagged explicitly as a modern, non-classical (not from Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra) convention — when the couple's Rashi lords are mutual friends. Being upfront that this third rule is a modern addition, not ancient scripture, matters for anyone weighing how much to rely on it.

How it's calculated

Checked as three independent rules against the couple's Rashi and Nakshatra positions; if any one applies, the Nadi factor's score is adjusted upward from the base same-Nadi zero.
