A same-Nadi pairing (Nadi Dosh) scores 0 out of 8, which can drag the total score below the acceptable threshold even when all other 7 factors are favorable. A same-Nadi pairing is not automatically disqualifying — classical texts describe three Nadi Bhanga (cancellation) conditions: (1) same Rashi but different Nakshatra, (2) same Nakshatra but different Rashi or Pada, and (3) a modern convention (not from BPHS) where the couple's Moon sign lords are mutual friends.
