What is Rashifal?
Rashifal is a Vedic astrology horoscope based on your Moon sign (Rashi), derived from current planetary transits. It is available as daily, weekly or monthly predictions and is distinct from a full birth chart (Kundli) reading.
How do I read today's Capricorn Rashifal?
Capricorn Rashifal looks at where each planet (Sun to Ketu) is today, counted from Capricorn as your Moon sign. Planets in favourable positions are listed under "What is going well"; the rest appear under "Where to be careful".
What are the 12 Rashis?
The 12 Rashis are: Mesh (Aries), Vrishabh (Taurus), Mithun (Gemini), Kark (Cancer), Simha (Leo), Kanya (Virgo), Tula (Libra), Vrishchik (Scorpio), Dhanu (Sagittarius), Makar (Capricorn), Kumbh (Aquarius) and Meen (Pisces). In Vedic astrology, your Rashi is determined by the Moon's position at birth, not the Sun.
What is the difference between daily, weekly and monthly Rashifal?
Daily Rashifal is based on that day's planetary positions. Weekly Rashifal summarises the key planetary shifts across the week. Monthly Rashifal covers major transits for the month and their longer-term effects on each Rashi.
What is the difference between Vedic and Western horoscope?
Vedic Rashifal uses the sidereal (Nirayana) zodiac and prioritises the Moon sign. Western horoscopes use the tropical zodiac and the Sun sign. This means your Rashi in Vedic astrology is often different from your Western star sign.
Which Rashi is the luckiest?
No single Rashi is universally the luckiest in Vedic astrology — fortune depends on planetary transits, Dasha periods and the individual birth chart. Each Rashi has its own favourable and challenging periods throughout the year.
